Turiyaskills uses a credit-based system for assessments. Understanding how credits work is essential for efficiently managing your assessment resources.

Credit System Overview

AI Credits are consumed when you:

  • Create new assessments (surveys and quizzes using AI engine)
  • Subjective answer evaluation in Quizzes
  • Video Proctoring
  • Generate dynamic AI reports
  • Use JD parser, Automated Skill clustering and Assessment creator based on the JD
  • Resume parser, score against JD

Response Credits are consumed when you:

  • Receive assessment response (surveys and quizzes)

We offer flexible subscription plans to suit different needs:

  • Starter: 200 response credits & 1000 AI credits per month
  • Pro: 500 response credits & 5,000 AI credits per month
  • Enterprise: Custom credit allocation
  • On top of this Top-Up response and AI credits on need basis

Credit Usage Best Practices

  1. Plan Assessments Carefully

    • Review credit requirements before creating assessments
    • Choose appropriate assessment types based on requirements whether you need a Survey or a Quiz
    • Survey is chosen when you want to collect information, opinions, or feedback from respondents. It is designed to gather data and insights for analysis.
    • Quiz is to test knowledge, skills, or memory. Typically includes questions with definitive "right" and "wrong" answers
  2. Monitor Credit Balance

    • Regular checking of credit usage
    • Track credit consumption patterns in the Billing Info>Usage History page

Credit Expiry

  • Credits expire by the end of the cycle. For example: for monthly subscription plans credits are accumulated every month but expired en masse by the the end of the year cycle
  • Unused credits are carried forward to the next month but expired by end of year cycle.

Real-World Credit Usage Scenarios

Scenario 1 – Company A: Resume Matching & JD Scoring

Use Case: Company A is hiring a Software Engineer. They have 200 resumes from applicants and want to quickly identify the top 20 candidates who best match their Job Description (JD).

How Turiyaskills Helps:

  1. Upload JD → JD Parser

    • 1 JD parsing = 5 AI Credits
  2. Upload Candidate Resumes → Resume Parser + Scoring against JD

    • Each resume parsing (5 credits) + scoring (10 credits) = 15 AI Credits per resume
    • 200 resumes × 15 = 3000 AI Credits
  3. AI-Generated Channel Analysis Report

    • Channel Analysis AI report (within Jobs Page) = 10 AI Credits

AI Credits are the units used to measure AI processing resources. They are consumed when using AI-powered features like survey generation, report creation, and video analysis.

What are Response Credits?

Response Credits are consumed for each candidate submission in features like questionnaires, tests, or video interviews. One response credit is used per candidate submission.

How are credits calculated?

Credits are calculated based on the specific feature and its complexity. For example, generating assessment questions costs 5 AI Credits per batch of 10 questions, while video proctoring uses 10 AI Credits per candidate response.

How are Assessment Generation Credits Calculated?

Assessment Generation uses 5 AI Credits per batch of up to 10 questions. If you need more questions, additional batches will be used accordingly.

How do Dynamic AI Reports consume credits?

Dynamic Reports use a combination of text generation (5 credits) and image generation (5 credits per image). Each report includes text and 3 images, totaling 20 credits per report.

How does Video Proctoring credit usage work?

Video Proctoring consumes 10 AI Credits per candidate response for analyzing the video and generating the proctoring evaluation report.

When are credits deducted?

Credits are deducted in real-time as features are used. AI Credits are consumed when generating content or analyzing data, while Response Credits are used when collecting candidate submissions.

Can I get refund for unused credits?

Credits are non-refundable but they never expire, so you can use them at any time for any supported feature.

How can I purchase more credits?

You can purchase additional credits through your account dashboard. Various packages are available to suit different usage needs.
